Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the BEA Atlantic Nova Scotia chapter Launch graciously hosted by 2 Crows Brewing CO, featuring an inspiring reading by Halifax poet laureate Afua Cooper & music by DJ Paultette & Josefa to celebrate the beginning of the Building Equality in Architecture movement in Nova Scotia. Special mention goes out to all our partners that made the event possible: Trios Design Consultants, EXP, A49, NSAA, Dalhousie School of Architecture, Dalhousie Equality in Architecture, photographer Julian Parkinson, & BEAT. 

With an overwhelming number of attendees and immense positive support, BEAA is very excited to continue launching across the east coast – bringing quality programming that works to empower underrepresented groups in our community, coming together to reflect on our profession.
